Targus is partnering with Dell Inc. through the company's "Plant a Forest for Me" program. The Dell program enables organizations worldwide to share best practices and, as partners, offset the carbon impact of the electricity required to power computer equipment by planting trees in sustainable, managed reforestation projects. To promote the research of improved energy-effiency within our environment, Targus supports the World Solar Challenge 2007 and 2008 seasons, by sponsoring the Contiuum car developed by the University of Michigan. The award-winning Continuum team consists of talented students who build and race the solar-powered vehicle in competitions around the world.
