As a leading manufacturer of Laptop Bags and Accessories, Targus is dedicated to preserving the environment and reducing the impact on our natural resources.
Green from the inside-out
The Targus commitment to being environmentally conscious extends throughout the company; from our product design and manufacturing, to our marketing efforts.
Marketing - With the sale of every EcoSmart™ Grove™ bag, Targus contributes a percentage of the revenue to The Conservation Fund , a non-profit organization that plants trees as part of a sustainable managed reforestation project. Through reforestation, The Conservation Fund's Go ZeroSM program helps companies understand and reverse their carbon footprint to reduce global climate changes related to the emission of greenhouse gasses.
Office - Beyond the core of our EcoSmart™ Family of Products, Targus employees are driving down the path to green with a company-wide transition towards: recycled and renewable office supplies; the use of high-efficiency lighting and climate control and reuse of shipping materials.
Packaging - Targus has launched a new initiative aimed at minimizing the amount of material used in our packaging and adopting the latest alternative materials. Use of recycled materials on hang tags; wraps and insert cards are just the beginning of our effort to leverage the use of reusable post-consumer materials in our packaging.
What makes EcoSmart™ Products Green?
From our first Grove™ line offering PVC-Free cases to our Designed for Dell Facets Collection made from recycled PET, Targus continues to research and develop new techniques for delivering products that reduce the consumption of raw materials, minimize our carbon footprint and incorporate the latest eco-friendly materials and production methods.
- EcoSmart™ Grove™ Products:

Eliminate the use of PVC as a backing material
Eliminate the use of nickel for hardware
