Targus Enters a New Phase of its PartnerVantage™ Reseller Program

The Company's Enhanced Program is Designed to Increase Channel Partners' Profitability and Leverage the Dramatic Growth of the Notebook Market



Anaheim, Calif. – July 18, 2007 - Targus® Inc., maker of the world's top-selling laptop cases and accessories, today announced it has enhanced its highly acclaimed PartnerVantage™ program. The new Business Development Resource Center* (BDRC) is designed to allow any Targus PartnerVantage member with a quarterly average of $2,500 in distribution purchases to easily accrue points, which they can redeem in return for Targus demo products and other marketing materials. The newly developed custom tracking program frees resellers from the hassle of tracking purchase orders by providing them with online access to all purchases made through all major distribution partners. Quarterly updates are automatically posted in the reseller's account, which can be accessed via their specific online account portal.

Targus also gives its channel partners the opportunity to take advantage of current market trends and offer the total notebook solution, which will significantly increase margins and enhance their bottom line. According to a recent report by IDC, the global PC market increased considerably in the first quarter of 2007, driven primarily by the continued explosive growth of laptop computers. Q1 year over year sales of laptop computers rose by 20% in 2007 compared to 16% a year ago.

With the growth of the laptop segment, resellers are increasingly finding themselves looking for ways to add value around the sale of a laptop system. "Targus delivers resellers the largest selection of notebook accessories and cases in the world.
