The Shield Messenger offers students an alternative to the traditional backpack style carrying case. The black and blue nylon padded case protects notebooks with screen sizes up to 15.4". The workstation provides plenty of space to store accessories and includes and ID holder and pen loops. The messenger is also equipped with a customized Targus headphone port on the front pocket for easy access. The padded shoulder strap and carry handle provide alternate carry options for added convenience. The product measures 17" x 14" x 4", is three pounds and has an estimated street price of $59.99.

The attractive Flare Backpack is designed to fit standard 15.4" notebooks and larger notebooks with 17" displays. The interior workstation includes plenty of storage compartments such as an ID holder, cell phone pocket, key clip, pen loops and includes two side water bottle pockets. The backpacks also feature a water-resistant bottom to help protect belongings during wet weather conditions. The cases feature stylized bungee accents, two large front zippered pockets for quick access to personal items and locking zipper pulls on the notebook compartment for added security. The Targus 17" Flare Backpack (Model # TSB089US) measures 13.8" x 7.48" x 20.08", weighs 2.46 pounds and has an estimated street price of $69.99. The 15.4" Flare Backpack comes in a grey and blue color combination (TSB07401US) or in black (TSB07402US). They measure 17.72" x 13" x 5.91", weigh three pounds and have an estimated street price of $59.99.
